Kim O'Connor is a licensed clinical social worker who dedicates her professional life to supporting the mental health and wellness of youth and families.
Kim volunteered her time and expertise on the RYC Board for many years and continues to serve as a Clinical Advisor.
She is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist with over 30 years of experience working with youth and adults in a variety of settings including hospitals, mental health centers, not-for-profits, and schools, from Washington D.C. to NYC and currently in Westchester where she has lived and worked since 2001.
In addition to private practice, Kim teaches Advanced Diagnosis and Clinical Assessment and Mindfulness in Social Work in the NYU School of Social Work Master’s Program. She is actively engaged in the Rye community, supporting the well-being of youth and families through volunteer work with local youth and family organizations, including Rye Youth Council and Rye Presbyterian Church.
