Youth and Families

Smart Parenting

Parenting can be a challenge, and we are here to help. The Rye Youth Council facilitates expert-led educational discussions, seminars and workshops for parents to learn proven, effective strategies for nurturing connection and resilience.

InSync Parent Education extends what is being taught in school to parents to help support and reinforce the social and emotional learnings at home. In Sync Parent Education:

  • Enables parents to extend and reinforce the social and emotional skills being taught by RYC youth educators in schools
  • Provides practical application of social and emotional concepts and competencies that are introduced  through programming by our community collaborators, such as Heard in Rye.
