Social Emotional Learning - A Definition

Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

RYC Youth Educator teaches an in-class Social and Emotional Learning curriculum to every 3rd and 4th grade class in the Rye City School District.
